The design.
- From mark to fontEvery letter began as a hand drawing, then was redrawn as vectors and spaced to work from large headings to short lines.
- The split sThe s opens into two strokes. It is a deliberate design choice, and the most recognisable feature of the typeface.
- Full Italian supportUpper case, lower case, numerals, punctuation, accented letters, typographic quotation marks and an arrow: 99 characters.
- A single weightVarco has a single weight, Regular. On this site we use no faux bold: hierarchy comes from size and space.
