The IAMETECH workshop in photographs: machining centres, tools and parts being machined, for the brochure

The client

IAMETECH is the brand under which IAME, part of the Korus group, offers precision machining as a contract service. For IAMETECH we had already designed the logo, built the website and photographed the parts in still life.

The brief

Showing where the parts are made: an automated production plant that clients never see. We needed images of the workshop to publish in the brochure, alongside the products.

The approach

An industrial photography reportage inside the plant, with the machines stopped and ready: the spindles and turrets of the machining centres, tool magazines, presetting, the automated pallet store and pallets loaded with discs, connecting rods, crankcases and cylinders. Low-angle shots and cold light, then a single colour treatment, steel blue and high contrast, which holds the whole series together and sets it apart from the still life on white.
