The project
The monograph of an agriturismo: 36 pages of photography and layout on history, cuisine, hospitality and receptions
The client
La Barcella is the Oldani family's agriturismo in Robecco sul Naviglio, born from the restoration of an old estate. Together with the La Cambiaga farm and Barcella al Mulino, the old mill converted into rooms and small apartments, it offers dining, accommodation, weddings and private events. Today the business is called Tenuta Cambiaga.
The brief
Telling, in a single volume, the story of a place that does three things, cooks, hosts guests and holds receptions, and doing it in the voice of a family, not a price list.
The approach
A 27×27 square monograph in four chapters, each opened by a double-page photograph: the history, the stay, the cuisine, the receptions. We photographed spaces, dishes and details and laid out the volume around texts by Massimo Oldani, through to the print files for Blueprint. The labarcella.it website, also by Unlead, completes the story.
