The project

The website for Komet kart tyres: five tyres, a page for each and a table to help you choose

The client

Komet makes kart tyres, is based in Verdellino, in the province of Bergamo, and is part of the Korus group, which brings together Italian motorsport companies including IAME and Kart Republic. Komet tyres are the ones chosen for the IAME Series worldwide and for the IAME Warriors Final.

The brief

Five tyres, two families, three categories, dry and wet: the website had to make clear at a glance which tyre to use in each class and in any weather, and send drivers and teams to the right distributor.

The approach

We photographed every tyre in the range and built an English-language product site around those images: a page for each tyre, a table matching class, dry and wet, and a page explaining compounds, treads and sizes. For the race tracks we designed the Komet Mastertent and the brand's merchandise. The site links to the IAME sites, from IAME Karting to IAME Motorsport.
